When you submit an eligibility check or contact request, we collect the details you provide: name, mobile number, email, city, intended destination and course, loan amount required, collateral position and admission status. We also record basic technical and campaign attribution data such as the page you arrived on, the referring website and any UTM parameters in the link you clicked.
Why we collect it
We use your information to assess which lenders' published policies may fit your profile, to contact you about your enquiry, to prepare and support a loan application if you ask us to, and to improve our guidance and website.
Sharing with lenders
We share your details with a bank or NBFC only to progress an application you have asked us to pursue, and only with the lenders relevant to that application. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing.
Consent and communication
By submitting a form you consent to being contacted by email or WhatsApp about your enquiry. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any message or writing to us.
Retention
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to support your application and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Security
Enquiry data is stored in access-controlled systems, and only authorised ShikshaVahini staff can view it. No online service can promise absolute security, so please do not send sensitive documents through unverified channels.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it.
